Achieving Automated Construction Progress Monitoring using Image Segmentation Approaches and Building Information Modeling

Implemented U-Net, DeepLabV3+, and Mask R-CNN to perform steel segmentation from jobsite images, and evaluated their robustness visually and quantitatively; Created a framework to automatically identify completion status of each structural steel element by comparing segmented site images and rendered 4D model images.
